Kitchen space was sacrificed to make way for an adequate sized office.  New skylights, repositioned lighting and improved storage and surface area met the design criteria while maintaining the budget.  A traditional layout was met with challenges of existing windows, proper work space and accommodating 2 cooks with a foot of height difference.
