The double vanity provides ample storage for personal items, stepped down and appropriately lit for multiple tasks.  Random tile flooring is warmed off the hydronic system and thermostatically controlled to a manifold in the boiler room.   Beadboard alder cabinetry balances the rustic look with modern accoutrements.  Faux log rafters run up the ceiling to the existing structural purlin, which was stripped of its red stain and integrated into a defining centerline for the room.
